Throughout his 20-year career, John has worked across the public, private, and non-profit sectors, focusing on enhancing livability in existing communities, rethinking urban infrastructure, and developing ambitious visions for growing cities and communities worldwide. John joined the US Green Building Council (USGBC) as the Technical Development Director for Cities and Communities. Here, he is helping advance how the organization measures urban sustainability, equity, and resiliency through the LEED rating systems.
