Stephanie is a landscape architect and project manager at Toole Design with extensive experience from feasibility studies and design guides to final design for parks, plazas, streetscapes, and trails. She was a leading author of the FHWA Guidebook on Trails as Resilient Infrastructure and recently served as a key contributor to a forthcoming guidebook with FHWA on the design process for rails-with-trails. Her trails work covers the gamut from network planning and feasibility studies to design, construction, and wayfinding. She is currently working on a final design rail-to-trail project and bike wayfinding for trails near Boston and in Cape Cod. Stephanie's diverse background giver her in-depth knowledge on the connection between land use, transportation, and climate resilience. As a former Climate Resilience Captain at Toole Design, she has worked on planning and design projects that expand resilience conversations beyond environmental-only to social resilience and support of public health. She is currently managing a large streetscape reconstruction project that incorporates green infrastructure as part of its resilience strategy.
