Ryan Sellers is an urban planning professional with experience in both the public and private sectors. Currently, serving as a Land Use and Zoning Consultant with The Collabarative Firm, LLC, Ryan leverages his experise to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and facilitate sustainable growth and development. Before transitioning to the private sector, Ryan honed his skills as a planner for the cities of Decatur, GA and Newton, KS. During his tenure in the public sector, he played a pivotal role in shaping land use policies, fostering economic vitality, and enhancing quality of life for residents.

Active in the American Planning Association (APA), Ryan serves as Vice-Chair of the Planning and the Black Community Division (PBCD) and lends his expertise to the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Commitee, working towards creating more diverse and inclusive spaces within the profession. With a passion for fostering collaborative solutions and driving positive change, Ryan continues to be a driving force in shaping the future of urban planning.
