Attorney and city planner Sean Suder founded zoning consulting firm, ZoneCo, LLC, in 2020 with the goal of making zoning codes around the country clear, consistent, usable, equitable, and defensible all while ensuring that the built form is reflective of a community’s vision. As an experienced private sector land use lawyer with extensive local government experience, Sean brings a unique perspective and two decades of experience to his zoning consulting work.

In his role as the City of Cincinnati’s chief land use counsel, Sean served as lead counsel for the award-winning Cincinnati form-based code and historic preservation ordinances. He is a national authority on innovative zoning methods and practices, and frequently speaks at conferences and publishes articles about zoning and land use issues.
