Jessica Garrow, FAICP is a Principal with Design Workshop, specializing in comprehensive planning, public participation, and land use development. She has 20 years of experience, including 13 years as a municipal planner and Community Development Director. Jessica specializes in work for small town and rural areas, particularly in the inter-mountain west. Jessica prevously served for many years on the executive committee for the Small Town and Rural Planning Division. She is particularly passionate about mentoring the next generation of planners and providing opportunities for young people to be engaged in planning projects. Jessica has published numerous articles about community engagement, and won state and national awards for her work. She has presented at state and national planning conferences on affordable housing regulations, the sharing economy, comprehensive planning, and transportation mitigation. Jessica holds a Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from the Ohio State University.
