Jewell Walton, Vice President of Public Partnerships with Evergreen Real Estate Group, is an affordable housing strategist with more than 20 years of experience facilitating real estate transactions and shaping public-private partnerships to build and preserve affordable housing. At Evergreen, she leads national initiatives to advance federal multifamily housing programs and strengthen collaboration between the public and private sectors. Previously, she spent nearly a decade at the Chicago Housing Authority, where she directed one of the nation’s largest Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) conversion programs, overseeing more than 6,500 units and $160 million in capital investment. A passionate advocate for equitable and sustainable community development, Jewell has also advised municipalities and developers across the country on housing policy, urban revitalization, and financial feasibility. She holds a Master’s in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago and serves on the Board of Directors of the Chicago Region Chapter of Lambda Alpha International as Immediate Past President.
