Zoe Iacovino has served as a Regional Planning Data Analyst since 2023 at the Metropolitan Area Planning Council, the RPA for the Greater Boston region. In this role she has led and contributed to a number of plans and research projects to advance equity, growth, and resilience in Boston and 100 cities and towns that make up MAPC. Work with the Metro Mayors Coalition Housing Task Force focused on unlocking housing production in the regions inner core led includes the Leveraging Public Lands work presented at this conference and an analysis of how multifamily housing conforms with by-right base zoning regulations. In 2025, Zoe led an analysis with Housing Navigator Massachusetts to measure the gap between the number of low-income renter households across Massachusetts and supply of affordable housing in order to create recommendations for future affordable housing production. She has contributed to comprehensive plans, housing production plans, and data analyses in support of planning research. She holds Masters desgrees in Urban Planning and Public Administration from Harvard University and lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Areas of professional interest include anti-displacement strategies, affordable housing development, climate resilience, and enviornmental justice.
