Manny Patole is an Industry Assistant Professor at NYU Tandon’s Center for Urban Science + Progress (CUSP). His work centers on urban livability at the neighborhood scale, advancing equity, sustainability, and inclusion through community-centered data science. He contributes to the NYU Climate Initiative, the Environmental and Racial Justice Network, and serves on the board of the Municipal Art Society of New York, National Community Stablization Trust's Middle Neighborhoods Initiative and the steering committee of the American Planning Association’s Water and Planning Network. With education grounded in engineering, law, and urban planning, his current research explores AI/data center value chains, public interest technology, shared equity models for urban livability, and data/technology ethics.
