Tulsa, Oklahoma
Susan Miller is a certified planner and currently serves as Planning Director for the City of Tulsa. In this role, she oversees all planning functions, with the goal of creating innovative new Planning approaches in the City of Tulsa that make a visible difference in the community. She is a Native Tulsan, returning to Tulsa in 2012 after 25 years working in other cities.
Susan has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida Atlantic University. Before coming back to Tulsa, Susan was the Assistant Planning Director for Oklahoma City. In Oklahoma City, her primary responsibilities were development and implementation of comprehensive plans, as well as special zoning districts. Prior to that, Susan was a Planner in Palm Beach and Broward Counties in Florida.
