David Stegink is Vice President and Brownfield Program Manager for Fishbeck, Inc. a Michigan-based environmental, engineering and architecture firm. David has been in the environmental industry for over 40 years. His work involves helping developers and municipal governments develop effective strategies for redevelopment of contaminated, blighted and obsolete properties. His team brings resources such as state and federal grants, tax incentives, technical assistance, and other support to leverage successful projects. He has secured millions of dollars in state and federal resources for his projects and helped bring hundreds of redevelopment projects to a successful finish. He started his career in the hazardous waste management industry as a chemist and then Operations Manager of a treatment facility. He is a graduate of Hope College in Holland, MI with degrees in both Chemistry and Biology.
