Madison Schillig earned her degree in urban planning while specializing in urban design from the University of Cincinnati. After graduation, Madison moved to Detroit to participate in the Challenge Detroit fellowship program. The program was designed to attract and retain young professionals in Detroit by connecting them with opportunities to work and make a difference in the city. In 2021 Madison joined the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation as part of the Motor City Match team. The Motor City Match program is designed to support small businesses in Detroit by providing them with financial support, technical assistance, and resources to help them grow. In her role as the Program Director, she works with the City of Detroit to strengthen the commercial corridors in the city by continued investment.
