Nolan W. Kukla is currently the Senior Planner for the City of Dearborn. In this role, he primarily serves the City’s Planning Commission, conducts site plan reviews, and assist in the development of long-range planning, such as the City’s current Master Plan update. Previously, Nolan’s experience was primarily focused in Erie County, New York. During this time, he focused on community engagement and equity-related planning projects, such as the ECLIPSE (Erie County Low-Income Program for Sustainable Energy).
Nolan graduated from Alma College with a Bachelor’s of Science in psychology and sociology and received his Master of Urban Planning from the University at Buffalo. While Nolan’s expertise is land use planning, he enjoys exploring the intersection between the social and built environments.
