Deep knowledge in economic development, regional planning, sustainable practices, and urban-rural and regional interfaces in food, water, and energy systems. Holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Michigan, a Master of Planning from the University of Southern California and Undergraduate degrees in Public Management and Economics from the University of Southern California.
