A proud Detroit native, Marja M. Farrow has held several leadership positions in municipal and county level government and more recently in the private sector. She is an experienced Administrator and skilled in community and economic development, grant writing and management, urban planning, management, community engagement and public policy. Mrs. Farrow currently serves asVice-President of Strategic Growth and Partnerships at Farrow Group, Inc. In this role, she is responsible for day to day operations, establishing new relationships, compliance with the relevant local, state and federal regulatory agencies, interfacing with clients, project management and sustainable, strategic growth. Farrow previously served as the Assistant City Manager and Director of Community & Economic Development for the City of Benton Harbor. In this capacity, she was responsible for analyzing and implementing policies and procedures, assisting in the preparation of the budget, responding to and resolving public inquiries and complaints, oversight of intergovernmental relations in the areas of service delivery and legislative issues, and management of department heads. She also performed grant writing and administration services and represented the City on several boards. Prior to serving in Benton Harbor, Farrow served as the Deputy Director of the City of Detroit Planning and Development Department.
