Amanda Oparka, AICP-As a Project Manager and Macomb County Planning and Economic Development, Amanda works in the Parks and Natural Resources Division. The division works with communities and organizations to improve parks and recreation opportunities, enhance tree canopy through the Green Macomb urban forestry partnership, reduce flooding through stormwater management, improve wildlife habitat and water quality, encourage healthy lifestyles for Macomb County Residents. She has Bachelor of Science in Hydro-geology from Central Michigan University and Masters of Urban Planning in Managing Metropolitan Growth from Wayne State University She is an AICP Certified Planner and has 10 years of experience in environmental planning.
