Gabriela Juarez is a City Planner for the City of Los Angeles Department of City Planning. having recently completed the City's first Climate Vulnerability Assessment in 2025, she carries citywide policy expertise that ranges from advanced aerial mobility to General Plan Elements along with climate equity on the Code Studies team. Her 20 years of experience in City Planning has spanned long range/advanced planning, project/current planning, policy implementation as well as interdepartmental and interagency coordination. Prior to working for the City of Los Angeles, she worked for various planning and land use organizations and companies including non-profits and expediting consultants. She attended the University of California, San Diego where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies with an emphasis in Urban Planning and the University of California, Los Angeles where she received her Master of Arts in Urban Planning with her concentration in Transportation and Land Use.
