Erin Ollig brings over 20 years of diverse planning experience from both the private and public sectors. She currently serves as the Strategic Planning Manager for the City of Overland Park, Kansas, where she directs long-range planning, GIS, neighborhood services, and Community Development Block Grant programs. Her recent achievements include successfully managing a first-of-its-kind $3.5 million small business relief program and serving as project manager for the FrameworkOP comprehensive plan update.
A certified planner, Erin earned her Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from the University of Kansas. She has been an active contributor to the Kansas APA Chapter Executive Board, holding roles such as Treasurer, At-Large member, and Newsletter Editor.
As a dedicated member of the American Planning Association, Erin is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. Drawing from her experience as a mother to two Gen-Z individuals, she understands the generation's emphasis on authenticity and honesty, qualities she aims to embody in this presentation.
