Nolan Zaroff, AICP, is a city planner with more than 15 years of experience advancing community-centered planning and development initiatives. Currently serving as Assistant Commissioner in the City of Chicago’s Department of Planning and Development, Nolan oversees planning for the South and West Sides of the city, including public and private development projects, neighborhood plans, city land sales, and large-scale community engagement efforts.
Nolan has also worked for the City of Milwaukee, the State of Michigan Land Bank, and the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments. He holds a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Michigan.
