Mathew Palmer (he/him/his)

Mathew Palmer is the Director of the Center for School Planning & Transportation at NC State University. Prior to joining NCSU and the Institute for Transportation Research and Education (ITRE), Mr. Palmer pursued his doctorate in City and Regional Planning at UNC Chapel Hill, focusing on school facility planning and school transportation. He was also a Research Associate at the National Center for Safe Routes to School, which was housed at the Highway Safety Research Center at UNC Chapel Hill. He holds a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from UCLA and a Bachelors from the University of Michigan.
