Caroline Dwyer, AICP is the Interim Assistant Director and Planning Manager for Chapel Hill Transit, in Chapel Hill, NC. Her professional motivation is supporting efficient, useful, and equitable public transportation. In this role, she is leading Chapel Hill’s first major transit capital investment – an 8.2-mile, $197.6 million bus rapid transit project. Caroline has served as Chair of the Women & Planning Division’s Executive Committee since January 2023. Prior to that, she served two consecutive terms as the Division’s Director of Communications. In her free time, Caroline enjoys knitting and podcasts.
