Gaby Harpel is a Planner II in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. Her work primarily centers on transportation and community involvement, having worked on the Long Range Transportation Plan 2050 for the Champaign-Urbana MPA, the Champaign-Urbana Active Transportation Plan, and various grants to advance local transportation access. Outside of transportation, her interests lie in inclusive planning, gender equity, and the intersection of public art and planning. Gaby has acted as the Director of Administration for the APA Women and Planning Division since January 2023.
