Bahij Chancey, AICP (he/him/his)

Bahij Chancey AICP is Managing Director at WXY Studio, where he facilitates land use, policy, and program design processes that blend public engagement and analysis. Bahij’s passion for public service centers on civic engagement and the power of community organizing to shape the city. He formerly worked at Green City Force -- advancing green workforce development for public housing residents -- in forest stewardship at the NYC Parks Department, and as an architectural draftsman. He is a co-founder and board member of Mechanical Gardens Bike Co-op, and was formerly a board member of Transportation Alternatives and a public member of Brooklyn Community Board Six. Bahij has a Master’s in City Planning from MIT and a BFA in Architecture from Yale.
