Minjia Yan is the Director at Millennium Commercial Properties, a Las Vegas-based full-service commercial real estate firm specializing in investment, development, and brokerage. Minjia excels at bridging market solutions with community-focused policymaking, impacting regional planning, housing, transportation, economic development, and urban resilience across both public and private sectors.
With a background in investment underwriting and securing debt/equity financing, Minjia’s passion for placemaking and community development sparked from her work in affordable housing in downtown Las Vegas and the Clark County Spring Mountain Corridor/Chinatown Redevelopment Plan.
Minjia contributes to regional planning and policymaking through her involvement with the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC)'s Southern Nevada Strong Steering Committee and Transportation Resource Advisory Committee. Additionally, she serves on the management committee for the Urban Land Institute Nevada District Council and is a member of the Public Private Partnership Product Council.
Minjia holds a Master of Science in Real Estate with a concentration in Finance and Investment from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Nevada - Las Vegas. She is also a Fellow of the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy's "Building Vibrant Communities" fellowship program.
