Nat Waggoner, PMP®, AICP, is the Transportation Coordinator for the City of Georgetown, Texas. Prior to joining local government, Nat served as an artillery officer in the United States Army, where he supported critical infrastructure initiatives in Iraq—an experience that sparked his interest in city planning and public service.
He holds a master’s degree in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Texas and has served the City of Georgetown in multiple capacities, including transportation, housing, historic preservation, and comprehensive planning.
As Transportation Coordinator, Nat leads long-range transportation master planning, capital project financing, intergovernmental partnerships, and program management for the City’s public limited paratransit service and locally funded on-demand rideshare program. He has overseen the full lifecycle of both transit programs, including scoping, procurement, launch, contract management, community outreach, and marketing.
Nat’s work focuses on building practical, locally supported mobility solutions that expand access and strengthen Georgetown’s transportation network.
