David Fields, FAICP has a simple mission as a planner: create places his grandparents could live by providing streets for everyone. He’s followed this mission for 30 years, working across nine countries and four continents, for both the private and public sector. David helped stitch back together Cleveland’s Public Square by recognizing when a street was better suited for people than cars, led key components of the APA-award winning moveDC long range transportation plan for Washington DC, led the City of Houston’s efforts to reduce fatalities and serious injuries on its roadways by 10% in two years, and is now working to make Harris County's streets safe for everyone.
