Janice Chu | Assoc. AIA | di Domenico + Partners

Janice Chu is a New York based architectural designer with international experience across US, Hong Kong and Copenhagen. Her work focuses on the intersection of design, technology, and civic engagement, particularly exploring how emerging tools play a role in design/ planning industry to support more equitable, community-led design and planning processes. She developed and led AI-assisted co-design workshops as part of the Sunnyside Vision Plan effort, a pilot workshop testing how large language model can support civic storytelling, rapid co-design, and new forms of dialogue between planners, designers and communities.

Janice holds a Master in Architecture from the Yale School of Architecture, and a BA in Architecture from the University of Hong Kong.
