Kimberly Marrone, AICP

Municipal Services Director
City of Oak Park, Michigan

Kimberly Marrone, EDFP, AICP- serves the City of Oak Park as Municipal Services Director. Ms. Marrone’s main responsibilities include the attraction of new businesses and expansion projects as well as managing the planning, zoning, building and engineering departments in the City of Oak Park.

Prior to Oak Park she served as the Downtown Development Authority Executive Director for the City of Imlay City and the Executive Director of the Imlay City Chamber of Commerce. Her other past experiences also include Real Estate, Communications and Human Resources. She graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelors degree in business, majoring in marketing.

Marrone recently served 6 years on the Michigan Economic Developers Association Board serving as President, Vice President and Treasurer. She currently is serving her third term as Chairperson on the 8 Mile Boulevard Association Board.

Her current projects include diversifying housing stock and increasing density through recruitment of Mixed-use and senior housing developments.
