Terry Croad brings nearly four decades of leadership in urban planning and design, helping cities translate vision into livable, resilient communities. His work bridges public policy, landscape architecture and community engagement, advancing inclusive stronger civic infrastructure and long-term development strategies that shape how municipalities adapt and serve residents.
He was formerly Prinicpal Planner in the City of Utica, NY and Vice President with McKenna Associates, Northville, MI. Terry currently serves as Director of Planning in Southfield, MI, since August 2010. He earned a 5-Year Bachelor Degree in Landscape Architecture from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) at Syracuse, NY, in association with Syracuse University. Terry serves on the Michigan Chapter of American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Diversity, Inclusion and Equity committee.
