Richard Hosey, Owner of Hosey Development LLC, a native Detroiter, current Detroit resident and a product of Detroit Public Schools, takes pride in his membership in the Detroit development community.

As owner of Hosey Development, LLC, Richard has developed a 26-unit market rate multifamily historic rehab loft development and a 36-unit market rate new construction multifamily project in Midtown Detroit. He has co-developed downtown Detroit buildings into 202 units of market rate loft apartments and 90,000 s.f. of office and commercial space. He currently has a 38-unit mixed income project under construction in the Liv-6 district, a 148-unit market rate historic rehab in Downtown Detroit and a 436-unit mixed income historic rehab in Detroit’s Milwaukee Junction neighborhood.

Richard holds a B.S. in Accounting from Florida A&M University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Tulane University.

Richard’s career entails development, consulting, financing, and asset management of more than 80 projects totaling over $2.5 billion in development costs.
