Nick Dupuis is the Planning Director for the City of Birmingham and has a masters degree in Urban Planning from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. His passion for urban planning was developed unkowingly through travel and experiences gathered in childhood and as a young adult, having spent considerable time in cities like Venice, Florida and Detroit, Michigan. Nick has developed specific interests in sustanability and historic preservation, which drives much of his work in Birmingham. In addition to broader life experiences, Nick has lived and worked along the Woodward corridor his entire life and has witnessed the many changes that have occured firsthand.
