Luke Ness

Luke Ness is an Associate Principal at Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates (MVVA) in their Denver, CO office. In his 15 years at MVVA, he has become a leader in management of large infrastructure and waterway projects, contributing to technical design and coordination of heavy civil construction to support ecology and landscape. Luke is currently the Team Captain and Earthworks and Environmental Project manager for the Port Lands Flood Protection project in Toronto, ON.

Luke received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Iowa State University, where he was the recipient of the ASLA Honor Award. Luke was a key contributor to the MVVA team honored with the 2020 ASLA Urban Design Honor Award for the Gateway Arch National Park and CityArchRiver 2015 project in St. Louis, MO.
