Bruce Stiftel, FAICP, is Professor Emeritus of City and Regional Planning at Georgia Tech and Director-at-large of APA. His research concerns collaborative governance of environmental policy, and international movement of planning ideas. Member of the editorial advisory board of the Journal of the American Planning Association, and graduate of SUNY Stony Brook and of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Stiftel is former president of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning, and founding chairperson of the Global Planning Education Association Network.
