Brooke Troxmondo (she/her) is the Planning and Policy Specialist at Smart Home America (SHA), where she supports developing and implementing SHA’s policy priorities. In her role, Brooke creates policies, provides technical support to governments, and gives public presentations nationwide. Brooke’s expertise is backed by a Master of Urban and Regional Planning and a Master of Science in Environment and Sustainability from the University of Michigan. Brooke has worked on various projects, including circular economy indicators for Ann Arbor, MI, creating a Healthy Housing Indicators map for Habitat for Humanity International, and formulating a public participation plan for the City of River Rouge.
