Amber is an associate principal at Ayers Saint Gross and adjunct faculty in the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation at the University of Maryland. Trained as both an architect and planner, she leads projects that bridge across disciplines, scopes, and scales to create thoughtful design solutions for cities, campuses, and communities. Amber speaks regularly on topics of equitable neighborhood design and is a staunch advocate for sustainable, connected communities. Her engagement and master planning work has been recognized with the American Planning Association (APA) National Capital Area’s Award for Outstanding Regional or Comprehensive Plan, the APA Maryland Sustainability and Transformation Award, and the Greater Baltimore Committee’s Mayor’s Business Recognition Award. In 2025, Amber was named a Daily Record Influential Marylander, selected as a Baltimore Business Journal Top 40 Under 40 awardee in 2024, and included on the Daily Record’s list of Maryland’s Top Women in 2021.
Amber received her Master of Architecture, Master of Community Planning, and Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Maryland, where her interdisciplinary training continues to inform her approach to planning and design.
