Mehri Mohebbi

Dr. Mehri Mohebbi is an urban planner, writer, and program leader working at the intersection of transportation, public health, and inclusive economic development. Her work spans transportation health, 24-hour economy strategy, collaborative decision-making, and AI-enabled planning tools that support more responsive and equitable systems. She serves as Program Lead at the University of Florida Transportation Institute, where she founded a national initiative advancing transportation equity and practitioner education. With more than 15 years of experience across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, she integrates transportation planning, environmental assessment, and stakeholder engagement to expand access, strengthen local economies, and improve community well-being. She holds a Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning, an IBM AI Product Manager certification, and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA.
