Dylan Rigsby is a social scientist and facilitator who has worked at the intersection of human-environment interactions for the past decade. He holds a master’s in sustainable development practice from the University of Florida, where he specialized in conservation and development initiatives in Central America. At the Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation, Dylan works to accelerate conservation efforts in the most urgent and vulnerable gaps of the Florida Wildlife Corridor through participatory frameworks and partnership development.
Prior to joining the non-profit sector, Dylan worked on a handful of USDA-funded agricultural programs at University of Florida that supported the development of novel climate adaptation and mitigation strategies, such as renewable biofuel feedstocks. He has published peer-reviewed papers on research assessing the function of trust and risk to build strong cross-sectoral partnerships in both natural resource management and agricultural journals.
