Tabitha Biehl is the Director for Polk County Parks and Natural Resources, where she oversees County infrastructure programs that addresses land and water natural areas management, parks and recreation, mosquito control and history center. She has more than 20 years of experience working in government and nonprofit settings. Successfully led the delivery of complex, resilient, science-based programs through strong partnerships and funding creativity. Tabitha is known for connecting technical work with community outcomes and for building teams that get things done. Her desire to building stronger communities, implement sustainable nature-based solution to improve water quality and establish conservation corridors, led to her passion of particlpating in the Florida Wildlife Corridors Mind the Gaps workshop, the first of which was held in Polk County.
