Josh Helms is currently the Director of Design for OHM’s PLACE group and has nearly two decades of experience in landscape architecture and planning, with deep expertise in guiding transformative public projects from concept through completion. As Director of Design at OHM Advisors, he has helped shape the revitalization of Cherry Hill Village in Canton, Michigan, a strategic community redevelopment centered around the creation of a vibrant Town Square and enhanced public spaces that reconnect historic assets with modern placemaking goals.
On the Cherry Hill Village project, Josh leads conceptual and schematic design efforts, collaborating closely with municipal partners, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to craft thoughtful site planning, streetscape amenities, pedestrian pathways, landscape features, and stormwater-informed public realm improvements. His attention to design continuity and detail supports seamless transitions from planning through construction administration, ensuring the vision for parks, plazas, and community gathering spaces is realized with integrity.
Josh’s ability to blend creative problem-solving with practical implementation has made him a valued partner in the effort to strengthen Cherry Hill’s sense of place and foster long-term community benefit.
